The maintainer had recently received some negative feedback from a user that the product's settings were "ridiculous" and "You are not getting any praise from me".
Feeling "sorry and guilty", the maintainer offered to make things right:
"... please send me all your receipts of purchasing Notepad++, I will process your refund."
The distraught user was refunded $0 ;)
To make error is human. To propagate error to all server in automatic way is #devops.
